We are sad to let you know that IGNITE 2014 has been postponed (but not cancelled) due to a lack of registration and funding. We suspect it is a matter of timing and so we are prayerfully discerning the right time in 2015. Let’s take encouragement from one of our keynote speakers Calisto Odede who after he heard the news, wrote: “God makes all things beautiful in His time and I am sure that time will come and all things will be beautiful. For such a significant convention, it is always wise to have a critical mass that will create a great mobilization even in the future.” As Paul says in Romans “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news” (Romans 10:15)
As we look to 2015 the conference will remain in Joburg as planned to be as accessible as possible to Southern Africa. Please do pray with us as we consider whether to have IGNITE 2015 in April/May OR in September- do give us your feedback.
We are still passionate that IGNITE is a conference for our times and pray that God will Ignite a generation of people who will reach out to the world around them for the sake of the Gospel:-
