Meet our Ignite 2013 plenary speakers!
Dr Lazarus Phiri is the current principal of the Theological College of Central Africa (TCCA) which is a training college in Zambia committed to quality theological education in an African context. He is also an internationally known speaker with many years of pastoral experience working with students and is committed to missions. He is a former IFES (International fellowship of evangelical students) worker who is conversant with the great issues being discussed in missions today, especially as these relate to students.
Brian Koela, our second plenary speaker, is a local pastor and leader. He’s a loving husband, a father, and a leader who has had years of experience in gospel ministry and especially cross-cultural work. He now works for The Warehouse, a South African organization that helps the church in South Africa in its response to poverty, injustice and division. He will help us to better think through our role in Jesus Christ’s mission in the world especially in relation to reconciliation and justice issues.
